So sad to hear of the death of my favorite 6th grade teacher at Tucker Elementary. He was a Great person. Sorry for your loss.
I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Jerry Langston.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jerry and the rest of the family. One of my favorite childhood memories was hanging out with Jerry, James & other cousins under the big trees at the Langston Farm sharing boiled peanuts with family. As a kid, I looked up to Jerry and followed him everywhere...I will always cherish those times..God be with you all...He will be missed.
Mom and I wish to extend our love and sympathy to Jerry's family. I was blessed to have him as my 6th grade teacher at Tucker. I remember we had PE fitness tests like the ??? yard dash. We ran very slowly, thinking we might not make it, otherwise. He probably had a good laugh or was discouraged with us. I hope he laughed. We will keep the family in our prayers. May God bring comfort.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Jerry was a great man, well-educated, humble, and considerate. He was always a very pleasant and enjoyable person to talk to. To me, he truly belonged to this country's greatest generation. Barbara, Andrea, Emma and Neil, it is always painful to lose a loved one, no matter how expected, but take comfort in the PROMISE that one day we shall all meet again in an eternal place "where there would be no more sadness and all tears would be wiped away". Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.Dr.Cabby , Lorna and family.
My dear friend Barbara, my heart and prayers are with you and yours.
