Every year, I place the tissue holder and paper holder she gave me when I taught Cade in the 3rd grade on my desk. What a sweet lady!! So sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a good boss, a dear friend and a good Christian woman. She gave me my first job at Morningside Elementary. She taught me so much and kept me in line when I needed it. She was always there when I needed a friend. If she crossed your path in life, then you were touched by the best. Your 6th sister.

Mike,I was so sorry to read about your mom's death. May God be with you and your family during this difficult time. Cling to the precious memories like we all do.
So blessed to have known this great lady. "Aunt" Valda (as she preferred me and probably half the county to call her) was a light who taught me many life lessons in her Sunday School class at Perry Church of God many years ago. The faith she lovingly imparted in those days makes me certain that we'll meet again someday. Praying for comfort for all of her sweet family at this time.
