Sandra was my neighbor when I was in my teens and 20s. We used to car pool together to Robins AFB. Years later, after I had moved away and my father had died, she was so wonderful to my mother taking her to appointments, taking her grocery shopping, and watering her precious African violets when my mother was out of town. My mother considered Sandra her third child. My late brother, Malcolm, and I were eternally grateful to Sandra for her kindness.

As a PHS classmate of Sandra, I was always impressed by her energy, friendliness and willingness to help others. She continued those traits into post-high school years, being involved in many community activities with countless examples of benevolence. She will be well-remembered and missed by all she touched.
