Dear Sharon, Ogden, Jim, and Katherine,I'm traveling and sad to hear of Mr. Oggie' passing but I join you in celebrating his life and my great times with all of y'all! I've missed seeing y'all but have wonderful memories of the summers together with our families at Sea Island- from jumping the dunes at Cumberland Is. to 4 th of July gatherings on the beach. I respected Mr. Oggie so much because he had the total package- banking and business savvy, likeability, sense of humor, honesty, integrity- all in a calm and casual demeanor. Like a dad, I felt I could call on him for anything. He now joins my Dad, Uncle Boone, in heaven where they get to rekindle their wonderful spirit together. My thoughts and prayers are with y'all.
Dear family,Our deepest sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I use to check out Mr. Person's groceries on St. Simons Island in the 1960s. A very nice man. Love, Wiley and Mary Younce and family
Sharon, i am so sorry to hear about Ogden. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the entire Persons family tonight. I have such good memories of Ogden and good times at Sea Island. I remember Ogden getting together for golf and drinks with Boone, Julian, Tucker and Dad. As a kid and as a young adult, I always thought they were the coolest group on the island ... and they were. Ogden had a unique gift .... the gift of being able to talk with a CEO just as comfortably as talking with his caddy or a waitress. He treated them all the same.... always. It made no difference to him. I noticed and admired that trait in Ogden. Not many people have that. He was level headed, smart, humble, and kind. He was one of my heroes. I will miss him terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family.
To Sharon and Family, I am sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Ogden. Men like him are few and far between. He was so full of knowledge, wisdom and humor. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.Snyder Chapman and Family
Mrs. Sharon, my prayers are with you and your family. I was always very nice to me and always made me laugh when we talked to each other at the bank. Please call if you need any assistance.
Sharon, Ogden, Jim, Katherine and family, please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Mr. Person's quick wit and great personality. It was a pleasure to work at The Bank of Perry and know this wonderful family. May you find peace in God's Mercy, Grace and Love.
Sharon, Ogden, Jim, Katherine and all your sweet family. I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. P was a good man, such a character with a fun sense of humor and a great smile that he shared with us all. I have many good memories of him over the years. My last memory of him was so sweet and I will remember him fondly. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. P surely loved his family.
So sorry for your loss Ms. Sharon and family.
