Nancy was like a second mom to me. Not only did I graduate high school with her son, Chris, but I worked with her at Fortis/CorVel Corporation for many years. She was a classy lady that was always well put together and was very meticulous and organized when it came to her work. Everyone knew Nancy had a system and you better not mess it up if she was off. She took me under her wing and was instrumental in me becoming an Occupational Therapist. I still can’t believe she trusted me to drive her car downtown to drop off packages, but I always had to bring her back a carrot and raisin salad from Chick-Fil-A. We became very close over the years we worked together, and I always referred to her as my second mom. Her birthday was actually the day after my mom’s too. I was incredibly blessed to have her in my life, and I am deeply saddened to hear about her passing. She will forever hold a special place in my heart. I am praying for the comfort and peace that only God can provide to all of you!
