MYRON DALE KERSEY's Obituary
PINEVIEW –
Myron Dale Kersey, 72, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. A visitation to express love and support for his family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry.
Dale was born in Bonaire, Georgia, to the late Charles Luther Kersey, Jr. and Marjorie Cunard Kersey. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Dale enjoyed life to the fullest, no matter if he was racing cars, cooking, raising dogs, or just telling stories. He will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Dale are his wife,
Eleanor DeVoll Kersey; his children, Shannon Duncan Kersey (Claire) of Warner Robins, Wesley Charles Kersey of Oklahoma City, Joe Brown Goodroe, Jr. (Monica) of Hawkinsville, and Jimmy Alton Norsworthy, Jr. (Kim) of Hawkinsville; his grandchildren, Nicholas Shane Kersey, Shannon Myron Kersey, Casen Michael Kersey, Mya Michele Kersey, Presley Sharee Kersey, Richard Goodroe, and Amber Beasley; his brother, Don Kersey of Bonaire; his nephews, Charlie Kersey and Robbie Edwards.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Charlene Kersey Edwards.
