Dale, you and I were miles apart as cousins, and our lifestyles as well. But I just want you to know how much I appreciated the few interactions and conversations we shared during your final couple of years or so. As you probably know, I don't have much in the way of an extended family, but you managed in a small but meaningful way to extend your sense of family to me in our brief interactions. I sensed how strong you sense of family is by your kindness towards me. I knew that although we were poles apart in the way we live and the way we think, I was nonetheless family, and at very least you made an exception for me. Thank you, Dale. I will always remember and appreciate you as part of my family.
