I worked with Melissa at First Community Bank for several years. Her office was right next to mine and we talked everyday. She would pop in and we would laugh about something or I would slip into her office for a simple chit chat. We shared a ride and a room at one of our yearly girls bank beach trips to which we all shared a laugh and a great time . I remember she made us a cd of music to play on the ride down. Many times on our lunch break we would run an errand to Walmart. She always parked her cute little red Mercedes at the back of the parking lot and made us walk all the way up because she didn’t want anyone opening their door and dinging up her car. She always kept that car so spotless.
She had a beautiful smile and such bright eyes. She light up a room with her energy. She was a perfectionist and as smart and as driven as they come. It has taken me a long time to share my condolences and memories because I didn’t feel like I had the right words at the time but she will be missed and I will always remember our laughs together. Prayers to all that loved her!
