Joseph Phascal Mann's Obituary
Joseph Phascal Mann entered into the presence of Jesus on October 27, 2015. He was born on November 4, 1923. He was the son of Wendall A. Mann and Mary Lizzie Hortman Mann of Roberta. He had a long, full life. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He loved his church, Memorial Heights Baptist, where he served as a Deacon. One of his favorite weekend activities was to go to Powersville and dance with his friends at the Oprey. He prided himself in doing the two-step.
Phascal is survived by his son Joseph Phascal "Joey" Mann, Jr.; his granddaughter, Joanna Mann Crockett (Josh); his great-grandson, Jase Crockett; his grandson, Jefferson Daniel Mann; and his caregiver, Joyce W. Mann. He is now rejoined with his bloved wife of 43 years, Shirley Harmon Mann.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Heights Baptist Church. Entombment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Memorial Heights Baptist Church, 521 Courtney Hodges Boulevard, Perry, Georgia 31069.
