Heard about Joe from Frank Holt just yesterday, Shirley. I was truly sorry to hear that he had passed. Although it has been many years, the 1950's to be exact, since I've seen either you or Joe, I well remember both of you. You might remember me: I was the guy who fell down the stairs on my way to answering the door the night when Joe came over to ask for the use of my car to take you to the hospital with your first born. We lived in Ingleside Apartments in those days. All of us part of the Coast Guard family. Juanita and I wish you happier times in the days to come.
