Jo Anne Berry, 73, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. A Service to Celebrate Her Life will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Perfect Pear, 922 Carroll Street in Perry. All friends and family are invited to join us as we remember her sweet, fun, loving soul and share memories of our precious Jo. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
Jo was born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Edwin and Doris Berry. She was a Legal Secretary for Lasky and Semons, attorneys in Ohio. She moved to Georgia in 2008 to be with her daughter and son-in-law. Jo enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, and cooking. She was a huge fan of Ohio State football, which was hard to do in the South, yet she persevered and always cheered for her Buckeyes. Jo was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Michael Berry and Robert Berry.
Left to cherish the memories of Jo are her daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Mike Daley of Elko; her sister, Pat Berry (Al Mitchum) of Peebles, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
