There have been very few people that I now have come to recognize as a kindred spirit. Jo Anne was one of those few. Her gentleness showed me how easily people can connect through just a smile. I was privileged to meet and become one of JoAnne's many friends. I can honestly say that she had one of the most engaging personalities and generous hearts of anyone I ever met. She was happy to help with any project and always gave it her all, from supporting her political candidates to painting a wall. She was a wonderful mother and a good friend. She will be remembered with much love and gratitude.
