Life Legacy PERRY-James E. Faircloth, Sr., 86, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 29, 2017. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Perry United Methodist Church. Read Obituary
Mr. Faircloth would come into The Country Kitchen, where I was a server, often to eat. He was such a sweet man and loved his books. (Which he shared several with me). Our company moved and he wasn't able to come there anymore, but we all loved, missed him and thought of him often. I was sadden to hear of his passing, but take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his wife and other loved ones. He made us smile and will always be remembered! Love and Prayers to all.

We will always remember Jim and Mariflyn as our friends that we ate out with almost every Friday night, the pine cone and shell wreaths he gave us and our trip to Virginia with them.

May God blfess and comfort all of you. Jim was a good friend and confidant of mine for many years. Without his advice and knowledge I would have have become a CPA. Our son, Larry and our daughter, Kim will always cherish the wonderful times they spent with you.

Jimmy and family,I was saddened to read of Mr. Faircloth's passing. I have such fond memories of his patience and understanding in attempting to teach me the principles of accounting while I was at Georgia Southwestern. Particularly, I will always recall fondly the Senior Roast of Faculty where I was selected to roast Mr. Faircloth. He was very kind and even laughed at many of my remarks and actions. A true gentleman, I know he will be missed by not only you and your family but by all of us who knew him. Prayers and thoughts are with all of you!
