Paulette was married to my daddy, Tommy Brandenburg, for almost 10 years. During that time I acquired 2 step-brothers, a step-sister with the same name and a half-sister. 😍 It was sure chaotic when all 7 of us were together. We lost Memaw, Paulette's mother then Mamaw, Daddy's mother. I have fond memories of carrying Stacey around on my hip. Do y'all remember when they put in that pool and we were the labor 😊? I loved Paulette's "Journey Cakes" she would make for us during the summer, they were meat pies. I have the recipe and still crave them sometimes.
