“Debbie, Amy, Matt and Ben, I don't have the words to express how I suspect we all feel about losing Ed. He was a great co-worker, boss, mentor and friend. I was devestated when I heard of his passing, and have thought back over all of the times we worked together, laughed together and how I watched him motivate people around him to exceed his expectations. Ed could take a stressful situation and have us laughing 10 seconds later. He was one-of-a-kind, and he will be missed. Todd and Carol Hinton”
He was definitely one of a kind and a joy to work with! He will be missed, but remembered with great affection!!!
When Ed and his family came into our lives in 1993, we met, for the first time, a "Southern Gentleman". He gracefully shared his family, his kindness, his faith and his love for life with us. I found he and I not only shared the career of a "cement head", but his knowledge of boxing, music, and sports paired with mine like no one else. His ability to read people and lead them was the key to his corporate success, but it was his gentle kindness that made him such a true friend. Our condolescences to you Debbie, Amy, Matt and Ben.
