Doyle ''Tuffy'' D Fleisher's Obituary
Life Legacy
PerryDoyle "Tuffy" Fleisher, formerly of Bernville, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 26, 2016 in Perry, Georgia, where he was currently residing. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Mr. Fleisher was born July 8, 1931 In Halifax, PA and graduated from Steelton Highspire High School. During his senior year, he was the quarterback for an undefeated season. He joined the U S Army and proudly served his country during the Korean War. After the war, he became a heavy equipment operator, owned and operated the Penn Valley Coach House in Bernville, and was a commercial truck driver. He and Marcia loved to travel in their motorhome with their pets. They traveled through 49 states. The only state he did not travel through was Hawaii because "there is not bridge to get to it". They also traveled through all provinces in Canada. Doyle's favorite places to visit were Alaska, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. He was a very good cook and enjoyed fine food. A special thank you to Dr. Soundappan and the nursing staff at the Perry Hospital for their excellent care.He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marcia, and a host of family and friend, who will miss him dearly.
