Marcia - You're in my thoughts during this very difficult time. Whether you realize it or not, Tuffy and you had a huge impact on me as a young man. Believe it or not, working for you at the Coach House was a respite in many ways. Tuffy helped me build my confidence by always encouraging me to try doing new things. Like my sister, who may not have been the best waitress, I'm sure I wasn't the best sous chef (can I even call it that?) - but I only ever received encouragement and I had a ton of fun doing it. You guys surrounded everyone with love and I will never forget that. Tuffy never did seem like the right name.

Dear Marcia, I have such fond and happy memories of Penn Valley Coach House where you gave me one of my first jobs ever, waitressing. Tuffy ran a tight ship but there was always lots of laughter and enough love to go around to family, friends, families of friends, and furry "kids" several times over. Boy, was I clueless, but you let me keep the tips! Wow! I imagine he's up there on the open road again . . . I'll miss him. Sending you a giant hug and hope to see you again soon.

Marcia, we are both so sorry to hear about Tuffy. You are in our prayers. We have many fond memories of him, especially when we lived on Irish Creek Road. Don remembers visiting the hotel and watching him clean crabs for the best crab cakes in Berks County. Please take care of yourself, we wish you well.

Dear Marcia, So sorry to hear of your loss. I wish I could be with you for the Memorial service. It seems you had a wonderful time traveling in your RV during retirement. So glad you two were able to make those wonderful journeys. Fond memories of that home along the river and delicious food too. You are in my thoughts.
