KATHLEEN-Donald J. McDaniel, 61, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. The family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr. Warner Robins, GA 31088.Mr. McDaniel was born in Montezuma, the son of the late Sidney Brooks McDaniel and the late Mary Alice Kelley Morris. He had lived in Houston County for over 35 years. Donald worked as a maintenance technician at Robins Air Force Base. He was a Baptist. Donald spent many hours through the years fishing and hunting with his friends. He enjoyed gardening and every facet of horticulture while working in his yard.Left to cherish the memories of Donald are his sister; Marilyn Bridges (Glenn) of Kathleen; a nephew, Glenn Bridges, Jr.; his nieces, Brooke Adams and Echo McDaniel; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
