Marilyn I am so sorry for your loss. Don is/was a good friend of mine. I shall miss our morning conversations and debates at work. I take comfort in knowing that some day, when my time comes, I will be able to once again be in the presence of my friend! God Bless You All!

Marilyn and Family, Don was a special friend--one that could always be depended on. It takes a long time to develop a true friendship, and Don and I had that. Our friendship went back to RAFB and especially the time we spent with Phil Johnson and the others in the fishing group. In recent years, he and I met for lunch on Mondays at Waffle House. My wife Kathy and I had Don over for meals at times. He always brought something like peach cobbler; he never came empty-handed. For Christmas, there was always lots of yummy chocolate--too much for just us; a bottle of wine was also included. Don had steadfast beliefs and could rarely be swayed. He will be greatly missed.
