I never got to post and wanted to tell the entire family and Isaac that though I didn’t know Debbie her whole life I feel like a resistive every time I hugged her! She and Isaac were strong mentors to many of us and great leaders! I loved the whole family! I love you Debbie and can’t wait to hug you in heaven! Laurie S. Price
I remember Debbie as a vivacious and friendly girl at Perry High, where i was a classmate with big brother Joe. Today I Googled the funeral home and requested a listing of those from my era, and was saddened to see that Debbie had only recently passed.
I remember Isaac, who I think lived near the old high school and funeral home when I was there. My memory remembers him as an athletic guy, several years behind me in school. Regretfully, I also saw that Currey had died--- I remember playing football with him in the humid conditions of "football camp"---(along with Joe).
After reading all the notes sent from grieving friends, I know that Debbie indeed has left her mark on all who knew her. Although it's been nearly 60 years since I was in school with her, I remember her well.

Though I never met Debbie Davis personally I did have the pleasure of meeting Isaac Davis whom I love with the love of the Lord Jesus. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Davis family and let you know I am praying with you and for you. May God’s Shalom be with you all especially during this time.
Debbie was an amazing Christian who loved her Lord, spreading the gospel and light of Jesus to whomever she was around. She will be missed. My personal memory that will live on is that she enjoyed cooking and was a very good cook. I am blessed she shared a couple of her recipes with me over the years and will live on in my family through those.

Oh I am going to miss Debbie! She gave the best, most genuinely, loving, comforting hugs. They were the kind of hugs that I continued to feel for a long time! She didn't have to use a lot of words. Holy Spirit spoke through her touch right to the very core of my being!
Debbie also had a very gentle way of giving correction to a big goof up I made. She softly placed her loving, gentle hand on my back, smiled sweetly in my face, without condemnation, said softly, "Now we can fix this.", and we did!
I went on a wild ride in the mountains switch backs, with Debbie driving. That was the day we had a conversation when she told me she was from the Mountains of Kentucky and was taught, while driving, how to "shave off the curves". Oh my stars we arrived safely and I returned with "buns of steel'!!!!

Debbie was always someone who could blend in or stand out at the same time. It was never about her, she made sure she was simply the tool Christ used to show all of humanity what true humility and love could be. She’ll be missed because she was so very rare in today’s world and the hearts of many will never forget. Praying for your families.

IIssac and Family, Tom and I are so saddened by Debbie’s passing. I remember so many fun times we shared with you, Debbie, Joyce and Jimmy. One night in particular was on a Christmas Eve when Debbie’s parents were out of town. “Santa” needed help calling children, and three joyful elves pitched in to assist. There were many confused children and parents that evening, and some calls had to be retracted. What wonderful times we shared! You and your family are in our constant prayers. Even though these are difficult days for you and the family, I’m sure you feel peaceful knowIng Debbie is in Heaven with her Mom, Pop, and Currey. God is Love 🙏🏼
