My husband is Harvey 'Gene' Collier, the eldest son of Harvey Samuel Collier, the eldest of the 13 children of Archibald ' Archie's Samuel Collier and Berta Lee Barfield Collier.
My husband was born in 1947, which made him several Daniels senior.
Daniel was a hunter and fisherman and excelled at all he attempted to do.
We both loved him dearly.
He was a wonderful father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family as well his co-workers at the base and many other friends.
One memory I have is of his brother , Herman, calling him " Boon" after Daniel Boon, because Daniel so loved hunting and fishing.
Rest in Peace, dearest Uncle Daniel.You will be deeply missed by all who knew you.
