Dan and I met and became friends in 1979. Along with Dennis Walker and others, Adam used his joy in gaming to set up a successful public tournament to raise money for Toys for Tots. He cared for people and was always willing to help. He was an honorable and ferocious fighter in the SCA, and was one of the founders of House Bohun. More than his contributions, he was my friend. I will miss hearing his stories, his laughter and his unfailing cheerfulness. I hope one day to share good times with him in Valhalla.
