Carolyn Scharff Etheridge, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Perry. Interment will be held at Evergreen Read Obituary
I had the privledge to help take care of Mrs. Etheridge while i worked at summer hill. She was a sweet, loving, caring lady. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a rare diamond in the ruff. A true lady. She will n e greatly missed by all that knew her. She touched so many lives with her stories, kindness and thoughtfulness.God bless you all!

I loved Miss Carolyn from the first time I met her. I hold many fond memories of her and Miss Connette over the years that still bring smiles when I think of them together. She was a true Southern lady who always put others first in everything she did. Our Delphian lunches won't be the same without her.
So sorry to hear of Ms. Carolyn's passing. She was a wonderful lady. I enjoyed seeing her at church as a child growing up and then working with her at Dfacs we were sweet mates and shared a telephone through a small window between our offices. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
