Life Legacy
Visitation for Camilla Sasser “Mimmie” Williams will be held at Bonaire United Methodist Church (Chapel) in Bonaire, Georgia on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 11:00 am until 12 Noon. Graveside services will also be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Sparta Cemetery in Sparta, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bonaire United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 250, Bonaire, Georgia 31005.Mrs. Williams was born in Bonaire, Georgia, on January 6, 1921, to the late Leonard B. and Merryl Green Woodard Sasser. She graduated from Bonaire High School and Georgia State College for Women. Mrs. Williams taught school at Centerville Elementary, Bonaire Elementary, Trion City School, Tifton City Schools, and Macon’s Pearl Stephens Elementary. After teaching the first grade for 34 years, she retired in 1975. In 1985, she moved to Westminster Village in Spanish Fort, Alabama, where she passed away. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur M. “Peck” Williams, who was killed in World War II.Survivors include numerous cousins and a special “chosen” daughter, Mrs. J. J.
