Brenda and I went to high school together in Barnesville. I moved to Barnesville in the 5th grade and I was so shy and scared. I didn’t know one person at that school. Brenda immediately befriended me and from then on we were good friends. She also gave me a bridal shower when I got married, and caught the bouquet at my reception. We lost contact for many years. But when I ended up in Macon, (husband was minister), we found each other again. For the past few years we had caught up on our children and grandchildren. We talked about family. She loved her FAMILY, and was so proud of Cole, Chloe, and Easton.
I am praying for Jim, there is nothing like losing your spouse of 51 years, for Carmen, Amy, and your families. I haven’t met you all, but I feel like I know you. I am so very sorry, and my heart is breaking for you. God says He will never leave or forsake you. And most important of all we all will see Brenda again with NO pain or suffering! I am praying for God to put his loving arms around you and give you peace and comfort!
