I just recently learned of Mrs. Mosteller's passing. She was my second grade teacher at Perry Elementary School. Such a kind lady who loved her kids. She was one of my favorite teachers. I am very sorry for your family's loss. She was a great person.

Mrs. Mosteller was my teacher at Joyland Kindergarten and second grade at Perry Elementary. She was a kind-hearted person who loved teaching young minds. I have many fond memories of my childhood thanks to her. One day in second grade she let me leave class to walk my dog Precious back home to Cater Avenue. She will be missed.
Mrs. Mosteller was my 2nd grade teacher. I have fond memories of her. May God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I didn't know your mother, but I knew her name because she and my mother, Nelle Hill Sullivan were good friends in college. We lost her 11 years ago. I'm sure you have some really good memories of your mother. I encourage you to hold onto those and know that many people are praying for you.
Mrs. Mosteller was my Kindergarten Teacher (1960) and my big brother, Bill's Kindergarten teacher. I loved going to Joyland. I could hardly wait each morning when Charlie Bell would walk me. We had so much fun with Mrs. Mosteller playing, dancing and learning manners, pledge of allegience, remembering to say "yes mam" and "no sir" and "please" and "thank you," We sang songs and played "hide & seek." We learned how to count, how to sit correctly in a chair, how to raise our hands to say something or ask a question, and we learned the ABC's. I never wanted to leave but had to at 2:00 pm or so. Mrs. Mosteller was always full of love and warmth.
