Met Barbara at the Alabama fan Appreciayion Days and she became my friend. She was kind and caring. She will never be forgotten.
I, too,worked with Barbara at Perry Hospital.She filled in for me at intervals.Barbara was a wonderful and caring nurse and very proud of her profession.She was a good friend and I will miss her.
Barbara and I became friends through our common love of Alabama (the band) and we are part of a much larger Alabama family from all parts of the country, so there are many, many people who know and love her. She is from Georgia and I'm from Arkansas, but we cruised together; went to concerts together; met each year for Fan Appreciation Day in Fort Payne, Alabama; made silly videos together; and visited in each other's homes. Our friendship started in 2013 with the Alabama cruise, but deepened quickly, and it's like we've always known each other. She has spent time with my family and I have spent time with her family. And that's what was always most important to her...her family. Even when she was away from them, she talked about her family the entire time and there were frequent phone calls as they missed her as much as she missed them. Barbara, I love you and will miss you. But now, no more illness and no more pain. My prayers for peace and comfort for Barbara's family and friends.
I worked with Barbara Glass at Perry Hospital as a LPN on Med/Surg floor. I began to know Barbara after I got hired on. To know Barbara Glass you was meeting a sweet caring women. She was very dedicated to taking care of her patients. She loved he grand children. Barbara I'm gonna miss you girl.
She was my 2nd cousin and sadly I didn't know her that we'll but I have enjoyed seeing her posts over time of her family of which I knew she loved dearly. Barbara you will be missed
Barbara was such a sweet, wonderful, caring person and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her at Perry Hospital. I loved reading her posts about her grand babies and Stephanie. She loved her some Alabama country music! She will be missed by so many!
Barbara and I have been friends for over 40 years, wonderful nurse with a kind and generous spirit. She was so loved and will be missed so much. Love to Stephanie and family. Donation to go to Humane Society ,she loved her pets, so sad.
