I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Beckham. I got to know her when I was a young teacher at Perry Elementary and she was librarian. I always enjoyed talking with her as she was such a mentor to me. The family is in our thoughts and prayers.
My mother , Dot Murphy, so enjoyed Mrs. Beckham. My mother's BS was in Home Economics and she retired as a librarian. They had a lot in common and plenty to talk about!Thinking of you and remembering you in my prayers. ..

Such fond memories of Ms Alma. My mother(Nell Dupree Woodruff) was secretary for the Houston County Extension/Home Economics office at the old courthouse in Perry. It was 1955 when I first met Ms. Alma; I remember her with great admiration and respect. My condolences to her family. Heaven has gained another precious soul.
