I just recently learned of Mrs. Mosteller's passing. She was my second grade teacher at Perry Elementary School. Such a kind lady who loved her kids. She was one of my favorite teachers. I am very sorry for your family's loss. She was a great person.

Mrs. Mosteller was my teacher at Joyland Kindergarten and second grade at Perry Elementary. She was a kind-hearted person who loved teaching young minds. I have many fond memories of my childhood thanks to her. One day in second grade she let me leave class to walk my dog Precious back home to Cater Avenue. She will be missed.

Miss Mosteller taught me second grade at Perry Elementary and I attended First Baptist Church with her for many years. I even attended Joyland Kindergarten in her backyard. She had such a positive influence on my life. She always went out of her way to encourage me even to the point of mailing me newspaper clippings with handwritten notes of encouragement when I changed careers and started teaching school. She was one of the finest people I have ever known.
