ZADIE LAWHORN REAGIN's Obituary
FORT VALLEY –
Zadie Lawhorn Reagin, 87, passed away after a long-term illness at her home in Fort Valley, GA on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Perry, GA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed be the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fort Valley, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Attn: Zadie Reagin, Humanitarian Fund. Contributions can be brought to the church at 1799 Houston Lake Rd, Perry, GA 31069 or mailed to Bishop Christiansen, 222 Idle Pines Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
Zadie was born in Valdosta, GA on June 24, 1935 to the late Robert and Alma Lawhorn. She retired from Robins Air force Base in 1987 after twenty-three years of dedicated service. Zadie was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was active with the church’s Relief Society. Zadie enjoyed spending time with her family and had many hobbies which included making greeting cards and researching family ancestry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Reagin.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Zadie are her children; James Reagin (Lorraine) of Warner Robins, GA; Kathy Brammer (Ken) of Kilmarnock, VA; Tracy Lynne Reagin of Fort Valley, GA and Lenny Reagin (Patty) of Fairbanks, AK; along with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
