Yvonne Moss Chaney's Obituary
PERRY-
Yvonne Moss Chaney, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 23, 2020. Services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with the Visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. and the Memorial Service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Yvonne was born in Walton County and had lived in Perry/Houston County since 1959. She was a special lady with a heart of gold. She enjoyed visiting with people and never met a stranger. She loved to laugh and to make others smile and laugh with her. Yvonne was a member of First Baptist Church of Perry, and delighted in spreading God’s word. “God is Love” was her favorite thing to share with people. If you spent any time with her at all, you knew she was a Christian, and you knew she loved to talk. She would bend an ear for as long as allowed and walk away with a new friend. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Roger Moss, J.W. Moss, Jerry Moss, and Hughlon Moss; and the father of her children, Gerald Chaney.
Survivors include her loving and devoted children, Bobby Chaney (Mandy) of Warner Robins, Lisa Willis (John) of Byron, and Dee Chaney of Ft. Valley; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her siblings, Reuben Moss, Judy Sullivan, Dianne Wilson, Larry Moss, and Mary Dean Redmond; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
