my heart is filled with sadness. willie was a great friend from back in our school days. I'm grateful that we remained friends over the past 40 yrs. even after he moved to Georgia we kept in touch and would visit when he was in SA. Those blessed memories as well as his infectious smile will forever remain in my heart. my condolences to the Rice family during this difficult time. Melinda Flores
Rest in peace my friend. Condolences and prayers for comfort to the Rice family.
I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Willie the past 4 or so years as we shared an office space. He will live on as I share many fond memories and stories in the coming years. We had a lot of laughs and shared happy times, like the birth of his grandson. There were hugs and sad times as well, like the loss of his father. I know there will be events I’ll want to text him about in the future, but that will have to wait. Willie is now retired in the arms of his Father. A well deserved reward.
Willie was a great, caring person and I was honored to have him as a friend. He was always a ray of sunshine, even when he was not feeling well or in a not so good mood. I enjoyed working with him and he will be sorely missed by myself and many more at Robins AFB and even outside of the base. Willie touched the lives of many people.
The World is a lesser place without him. Heaven gained a good one Tuesday. May the blessings of God be with your family. As much as the loss is for us privileged to call you friend and coworker, the loss is even more for your family.
To Willie Rice Family, I'm deeply saddened with the lost of one of my best friends. Wille was a very special person to me and I will live with his memories for years to come. He was a true Dallas Cowboy fan, he was a professional at his work and Loved his family. I will cherish the memories he left with me. You all will be in the prayers of my family and Church doing this time of sadness and my the Holy Spirit comfort and guide you during these days for now and always.

Forever in my heart, always on my mind, remaining in my prayers. With much love, Kim & Robby Manning
Willie had a gentle soul and his humor made me laugh on many occasions. I always thought I was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan in Georgia until I saw the Cowboys shrine Willie had built in his house. When the roof is open at Cowboys AT&T stadium, I imagine he will be looking down and watching his beloved Cowboys.
