William Robert Steiner's Obituary
Age 85, a resident of Bayou La Batre, AL passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. William was a member of First Evangelical Church of Bayou La Batre, US Navy 9/18/1950-7/14/1954 machinist mate 2nd class, and 30+ years at Ingalls Shipyard. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Frances and Alice Fulford, sisters, Sylvia Wheeler, Mercedes Steiner Laforce and Wilda Glasscock. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gloria Robertson Steiner, siblings, Winston L. Steiner, Wayne I. Steiner, Joyce Steiner Gaden and Ret.Col. Fredrick Steiner, children, Roderick Patton Steiner and Tina Steiner Johnson, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2 pm with visitation starting at 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery.
