William Floyd Collins Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. William Floyd Collins, Sr., a native of Buffalo, NY but longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the age of 93. A veteran, he served his country in the United States Air Force for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed woodworking out in his shop and travel. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ila Lou Harris Collins, children Lynda Kent, Lonna Lindmark, and William F. Collins, Jr, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, August 31 at Serenity Funeral Home until the funeral service begins at 2pm, then Mr. Collins will be laid to rest in the Wall of Honor at Serenity Memorial Gardens following his service.
