I’m so sorry for your loss. Mr. Earl was one of my first co-workers when I started working on the base 20 years ago. He often talked so lovingly about his wife and so proudly about his sons. I ran into him again last year at Kid’s America, watching Reese do gymnastics, and he told me all about his grandchildren and how proud he was of them. His family was definitely a great source of pride and joy for him, I know you all will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry. Last time I saw Earl, he was with Peggy shopping. She had just found out she was sick and she and I visited for a good bit right there in the store. I had worked with Peggy so of course we had lots of catching up to do. Earl stood, waited patiently and listened as we talked about her illness and school. I noticed how much he loved her that day. Most men would have rushed us, but he let her take comfort in sharing about what she was going through. He's probably looking at her the same way now as he did that day...sweet and lovingly. They were both so proud of their boys and their families. My sincere sympathies and prayers.
