Willene Patrick Hall's Obituary
PERRY-
Willene Patrick Hall, 104, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Perry United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., the hour preceding the service, in the sanctuary at Perry United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hall was born in Omega, Georgia, to the late William T. and Mamie Plunkett Patrick. She went to Norman Park Junior College where she majored in Music. She moved to Lincolnton, Georgia, and began teaching piano and expression to local students. Mrs. Hall married the love of her life, John Durward Hall, and, as a homemaker most all of her life, together they created a loving and caring environment in which to raise their only child. An expert pianist, Mrs. Willene enjoyed teaching people to play the piano through the years. She was thrilled to play the piano anytime she had the opportunity, whether it was for an audience or for her own pleasure. A long-time member of Perry United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Susannah Wesley Sunday School Class and a former member of the Ladies' Bible Class. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Hall; her brother, William Thomas Patrick, Jr.; and her sister, Shirley Patrick.
Left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Willene are her daughter and her husband, Homer and Pat Buice Lassiter of Perry; her grandchildren, Camille Buice (Glen Capanelli), Kathryn Buice Dieter (Bob), Randall Buice (Nicole), and Patrick Buice (Angie); seven great-grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
