Wilbur 'Pete' Lynn Campbell's Obituary

Wilbur Lynn "Pete" Campbell, after celebrating a beautiful earthly life of 67 years, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. A Memorial Service to Celebrate his life will be on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Solomon Lutheran Church Cemetery (Eppley Cemetery) in McConnelsville, OH. Mr. Campbell was born in Zanesville, Ohio, and was the youngest child of Wilbur K. Campbell and Francis Lyons Campbell. He was a retired mouldmaker with Anchor Glass Container in Warner Robins, GA, after 25 years of service, where he served as the financial secretary for the United Steel Workers Union Local 3T. Mr. Campbell proudly served in the U. S. Navy from 1960 to 1968, receiving an honorable discharge, and was a member of the American Legion Post 24. He held a steam engineers license, and was an amateur radio operator. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Campbell leaves his wife, Eldora Garrett Campbell; his daughter, Nicole Campbell; his son, Jeffery Campbell (Tresa); his step-children, Robert Corbett, Jr. (Debbie), Michael Corbett, and Kelly McCarley (Lee); his grandchildren, Ethan Hogg, Seth Hogg, Chloe Campbell, Jeremy Collins, Jacquelyn Collins, Jordan Collins, Joshua Collins, Anthony Corbett, and Nicholas Corbett; his devoted sister, Darlene Stemm (Donald); and numerous nieces and nephews.
