Wellington Bowman 'Sonny' Livingston's Obituary
IVEY, GA -
Wellington Bowman "Sonny" Livingston, III, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service.
Sonny was born in Macon to the late Wellington Bowman Livingston, Jr. and the late Fannie Maude Nash Grooms. He grew up in Perry and was a 1965 graduate of Perry High School. He was an electrician with the IBEW Union Local 1316. A huge Georgia Bulldog fan, he is sure to be cheering for his Dawgs from Heaven. Sonny was preceded in death by his brother, David Livingston.
Left to cherish the memories of Sonny are his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Christie Livingston of Ivey; his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Monique Livingston of Atlanta; his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Morgan Nivins of St. Augustine, FL; 3 grandchildren; his sister, Nancy Hodge (Russell) of Perry; 1 niece; and 3 nephews.
