Wayne M. Jowers' Obituary
Wayne M. Jowers, age 78, a native of Bayou La Batre, AL and a resident of Mary Esther, FL passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was a member of St. Simons On-The-Sound Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Marguerite Jowers, brother, Jimmie Jowers, sister, Peggy Hardy. He is survived by his wife Mary "Happy" Simonson Jowers, children, Gary(Diane) Jowers, Karen(Frank) Wolfe, Jeff(Tina) Jowers, grandchildren, Mark, Ben and Mackenzie Chelius, step children, Michael(Robin) Raines, Russell(Magaly) Raines, Robert(Jana) Raines, siblings, Chuck(Nita) Jowers, Tommy(Ida) Jowers, Ralph(Lola) Jowers, and Robbie Jowers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 12 Noon with visitation starting at 10 AM until service time. Interment will be in Oddfellows Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
