Wayne Coleman's Obituary
WAYNE COLEMAN KATHLEEN- Wayne Coleman, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 25, 2019. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in Perry Memorial Gardens. The family will briefly visit with friends following the service. Wayne grew up in Perry and went to Perry High School. He lived the rest of his life in Houston County, working as a Mechanic for various Chevrolet dealerships in Middle Georgia throughout his career. A hard-working man, he mainly kept to his home and his family. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching it with his wife. He was a wonderful husband, Daddy, Pop, and Grandpa, and will be missed by those who loved him. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Wanda Coleman; his daughters, Lorie Ann Jones (Matthew) of Calhoun, and Tina Joiner (Christopher) of Kathleen; granddaughters, Alexis Joiner, Kaitlyn Joiner; brother, Ray Coleman (Angela) of Perry; sisters-in-law, Jeannette Parker (Wendell) of Byron and Dana Herring (Dale) of Vienna; brother-in-law, James Tharpe of Unadilla; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved, faithful dog, “Dooly”.
