Walter Dale Dees Sr's Obituary
Mr. Walter Dale Dees Sr., age 76, a native of Grand Bay, AL and a resident of Mobile County for over 70 years, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at his home in Grand Bay, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Homer Dees and Lucille Hamilton Dees, brother, Robert Neal Dees Sr. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ola Grey Dees, sons, Walter Dale (Karen) Dees Jr., Dwayne Grey (Tammie) Dees, daughters, Sheri Dees (Dennis) Smullen, Susan Dees Zito, sister, Margie Dees Fosky of Hawkinsville Georgia, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 6 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from the chapel at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10 am with Rev. David Jones officiating, Active Pallbearers will be grandsons, Walter Dale Dees III, Corbin Grey Dees, Bryan Zito, Roy Smullen, Daniel Smullen and Devan Smullen, honorary Pallbearer, Dustin Dees. Interment will be in Grand Bay Cemetery.
