Wallace E. Rodgers' Obituary
Wallace Everton Rodgers, a native of Barbados, West Indies and a resident of Mauvilla, AL, exchanged his earthly life for a peaceful eternity on January 28, 2015. He was born to Eunicy Rodgers & Wilbert Everton Walcott on August 6, 1958. Wallace leaves to cherish his memories a devoted Wife Katheryn Taylor Rodgers, a mother, Evelyn Walcott, a son Jermaine Callendar (Louise), two grandchildren M’Kyah, & Layla Callendar of Barbados, West Indies; six sisters, Angela (Carl) Thomas of England, Shirley Rodgers of Holland, Orine (Dennis) Edwards of Brooklyn, N.Y., Elnora (Alwin) Garraway of Tortolla, BVI, Anne Rodgers of England, Ezelyn Gale of Winnipeg, Canada; four brothers, Ezra Rodgers of England, Tony Rodgers of Tortolla, BVI, Charles Rudy Walcott, Winston Walcott of Barbados, West Indies; two devoted nieces, Deirdre Taylor, Kindra Williams; A devoted nephew, Cedric Smith; mother in law Doris Taylor; sister in law Gloria Taylor; brother in law Robert Taylor; devoted cousin Augustine Forbes of Canada; four devoted friends, Paul Hampton, Roevetus Kimball, Keith Rembert, Eddie Davis; A host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour at Pure Word Deliverance Church 2530 South Shelton Beach Road, Eight Mile, AL 36613 Dr. Ruby Eldridge, pastor and officiating minister. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd, Theodore, AL 36582. Flowers are welcome and memorial donations may be given to ST Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Funeral services entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home 8691 Old Pascagoula Road, Mobile, Al 36619.
