W. Donald Roberson's Obituary
HAWKINSVILLE –
Wiley Donald Roberson, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at home holding the hand of his devoted wife and surrounded by family. At his request, the services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Donald was born and grew up in Perry to the late William and Ruby McElhenny Roberson. After graduation from Perry High School, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy and proudly served our country. Donald earned an Associate’s Degree from St. Augustine College then began working for the Department of Defense. He retired from Civil Service after thirty-six years of service. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Clair Roberson Bailey.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Donald are his loving and faithful wife of 58 years, Martha Thompson Roberson of Hawkinsville; his grandson, Levi Bailey of Hawkinsville; his brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Deb Roberson of Fort Valley; and several nieces and nephews.
