VIVIAN MORRIS DAVIDSON's Obituary
PERRY –
Vivian Morris Davidson, 88, passed away on April 4, 2021. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in Perry Memorial Gardens.
Vivian was born in Clinchfield to the late John and Leola Sanders Morris. She married the love of her life, Earl Davidson, and the couple owned Davidson Grocery in Kathleen. After the untimely passing of her husband, Vivian continued to operate the family business, often working up to sixteen hours a day. She was a very intelligent lady and shared her knowledge with her children and grandchildren as often as possible. Through the examples shown in her everyday life, the importance of hard work and a strong work ethic were passed on. As she grew older, Vivian often reminisced of growing up and living on the family farm, nurturing and taking care of the farm's various animals, her favorite of which were the cows. She had seen so many changes in our country and the world and had been through various struggles, Vivian proved to be strong-willed and a survivor of whatever was thrown her way.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Vivian are her daughters, Peggy Clements of Adairsville and Vickie Davidson of Perry; her grandchildren, Chrissie Guenther (Joe), Donnie Clements, Shaun Westbrook (Shelli), Holly Davidson, Clint Davidson, Amy Davidson, and Robby Grisenthwaite (Kayla); six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Olivia Bates; and several nieces and nephews.
Vivian was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of forty-two years, Earl Davidson; her son, Sonny Davidson; a daughter, Patti Grisenthwaite; her brother, James Morris, and two grandsons, Eric Westbrook and Ricky Grisenthwaite.
