VIRGINIA HOOPES STAVECKAS's Obituary
WARNER ROBINS – Virginia Adell Hoopes Staveckas, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020, at The Lodge. Graveside Services for the family will be held in Darlington Cemetery in Bel Air, Maryland, at 11:00 a.m. on October 6, 2020. McComas Funeral Home in Bel Air, Maryland, will be handling the service there. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
Virginia was born in Hickory, Maryland, to the late Clement and Mary Patterson Hoopes. She was a bookkeeper for the local A & P grocery store for twenty-one years. She enjoyed volunteering at the hospital in Bel Air, Maryland. Virginia delighted in getting together for family meals and fun in her younger years with parents, sisters, and brothers, as well as her aunts, uncles, and cousins, and eventually gathering for family time with her own children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Paul Boniface of Bonaire, and Jan and Bud Hume of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren, Kristine Griffis, Paul Boniface, Joseph Boniface, and Timothy Boniface; five great-grandchildren; and her brother, Bobby Hoopes. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; and her husband of seventeen years, Joseph Staveckas.
