She was one of the sweetest ladies I ever have known! Always smiling and always gave me a hug! I loved her. RIP sweet friend. I will miss your smiling face
Virginia will be missed! She was a good neighbor and friend to my mom, Marilyn Hooten, for many years. I always enjoyed visiting with her in recent years, on her carport while she felt like being outside. As a teenager at First Baptist, I have a picture in my memories of Virginia sitting right down front with her very young boys, all with a fresh "bowl" haircut. Love and prayers for comfort to each of you.
Virginia you had a beautiful family who trusted and believed in me to care for you over the past several months, I’m blessed to have called you my friend. We shared so many great and funny times together, you were full of wisdom, grace and gratefulness. Thank you for being my Sister in Christ. Ms.V, I sure did fall in love with our time together, you were just a big kid at heart at a beautiful 95 years old, I will miss you! May the Lord protect and love on V’s family as they lay her rest this coming Monday, she was the matriarch of the family and loved each and everyone of her family members with great passion. She was a lover of the Lord and showed it in her attitude, her giving spirit and her thankfulness to God through prayer each and every day. I want to thank the Nadeau’s for sharing her with me, they always made me so appreciated and cared for during this special time. Rest in piece Virginia, you were a true friend and my Sister in Christ ♥️

We are saddened to hear about Virginia’s passing. She was a dear lady that truly loved helping people. Always enjoyed visiting with her at the Fair! Prayers for the family.
Joe, Jim and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Miss Virginia was a special lady with a happy spirit, a ready smile and it was always a pleasure to see her in the bank. Praying that God will comfort you. Heaven’s gain. 🙏
I was sorry to hear of Aunt Tootsie’s passing. I remember when Lee andI were in Alabama going to Georgia and spending time with her and Uncle Joe. That was so special to us. Even though we were miles apart I always thought fondly of Aunt Tootsie and Uncle Joe.
So sorry to hear about your sweet mom. She and Mr. Joe were some of my favorite customers while working at The Bank of Perry. Please know ya'll are in our thoughts and Prayers.
Aunt Virginia is having a grand reunion with family that has gone before us. I celebrate her life and how she greatly deposited into mine.
So very sorry to learn of Tootsie’s death. She was a very special lady. I called at least once a year to visit with my very busy aunt. Once she told me she was helping at the fair and had loaded her walker in the car so she could go. Amazing. Even though I didn’t see her much I will miss her greatly.
