Vicky Downs Beck's Obituary
PERRY, GEORGIA-
Vicky Downs Beck, of Perry, Georgia, formerly of Bryson City, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2014, after a brief illness. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church in Bryson City, North Carolina.
Born October 21, 1958, in Swain County, North Carolina, Vicky was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rob and Dolly Parris Jenkins; a brother, Dennis Downs; and a precious grandson, Mason West.
Family was especially important to Vicky. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of over 20 years, Terry Beck of Perry, Georgia; three sons, Chris Cole, Jason Beck, and Justin Beck (Danielle); two daughters, Chanell Maney West (JT) and Jennifer Beck Stacey (Jason); her grandchildren, Cara Pearl Battles, Braden Beck, Bailey Cole, Kalob Beck, Henry West, and Kyndall West; her mother, Alta Downs of Bryson City, North Carolina; two brothers, Rick Downs (Linda) and Jim Clark (Joyce); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other precious family members.
