BONAIRE – Vernon Wesley “Vern” Wells, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, with his loving wife by his side. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Perry Unite Read Obituary

I am going to miss my buddy Vern. We have been friends for a long time, through law enforcement and retirement. We covered the world situations sharing breakfast together at Chick-fil-A, Burger King and Jack's. The last few years of his life were his happiest, attending church and being with Becky. I am so very sorry for your loss. Vern was a lovely, sweet man who always had a smile for everyone. He will be missed not only in our Christadelphian Sunday School class, but by all who knew him. May God bless and comfort you.
This is my dad when we were traveling and my mom saw these cattails and wanted them and talked Vern into going in the ditch to get her some. He was an amazing man who did so much for us and for others. He was dedicated to anything he did and did it 100%.
