Life Legacy
BROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA -Trey Hamsley, 31, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, GA. Funeral Services will on Friday, January 20, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Trey was born in Hawkinsville, grew up in Houston County, and graduated from Houston County High School in 2003. He went directly into the U.S. Marines where he proudly served our country for over 5 years, during which time he was deployed and served in Iraq and Kuwait. For the majority of the time, Trey was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California. After being medically discharged from the Marines, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, with his family and considered various work opportunities before committing to become a nurse. Trey worked as a Clinical Technician at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was looking forward to a career in Nursing. A responsibly strong and confident head of his home, he never met a stranger. Trey's family feels blessed to have been chosen by God to be Trey's family. Left to cherish the memories of Trey are his son, Nathan Hamsley of Glenpool, Oklahoma; his mother, Cheryl Trice of Perry; his father, Tim Hamsley of Perry; his siblings, Jennifer Schroepfer of Warner Robins, Kelly Davis of Phenix City, Alabama, and Reid Davis (Leslie) of Macon; his maternal grandmother, Linda Sumner (Steve) of Manchester, Georgia; his maternal grandfather, Gene Bowen (Barbara) of Warner Robins; his maternal great-grandmother, Mildred Kitchens of Cordele; a host of nieces and nephews; and several other extended family members.
