Thomas Ray Leavins' Obituary
Thomas “Tom” Leavins, age 69, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014. He retired from Hart’s Fried Chicken after 28 years of service. He was an avid fisher, gardner and a strong Christian man. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Leavins, children, Elizabeth L. Ayala, Sheila (Mark) Hughes, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, siblings, James “Jimmy” Leavins, Deborah Hale, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 2 pm with visitation starting at 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
